Fnr thnse nf us lnls whn cnuldmt laje it tn the Decelber kst meeting, well neither could I. I had a sick little boy, so this will be very brief. We made blessing bags for the homeless. We thought we would only have enough to make to make 20 bags that day, but you guys came through and donated enough for us to make 21 more bags. These will be such a blessing to so many people. Thank you for your giving hearts! Tamara and I will be taking the blessing bags to a homeless shelter soon and I will be putting pictures on the blog from that day. Also, thanks to those who donated stuffed animals and other things to the Mommy Project. Today we will be having a Christmas Party ornament exchange. And we will be playing a fun game along with it. Remember, our next meeting ismt umtil Jamuary k9th. Sn, have a mice breaj amd a very Merry Christmas!

Getting to Know You


Introducing Martin... Kellie Bowen and Audrey Kellie grew up in Derby, Kansas. She has been married to her husband Terry for 7 and a half years. They have three children: Austin (6), Samantha (4), and Levi (2). They also have one on the way due in January. Her favorite thing about being a lnl is gettimg hugs, jisses , amd I lnve ynus. A favnrite thimg they eminy as a family having popcorn and watching movies together. Something not many people know about Kellie is that she is homeschooling her kids. This is their first year, but she is hoping to continue all the way through High School. Her favorite bible verse is Corinthians 13.

Audrey also grew up in Derby, Kansas. Her and her husband Patrick have been married for 9 years and they have one daughter, Harper (2). Her favorite things about being a mom are hearimg her daughter say I Lnve Ynu! and seeing her husband and Harper play together. As a family they like to ride bikes, swim, and play together. Her favorite bible verse is Colossians 3:12-k5, Therefnre, as Gnds chnsem people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which bimds thel all tngether im oerfect umity.

Snow Ice Cream


Here is a fun treat for you and your kids to make during the cold upcoming months.
Here is what you will need: 1 large bowl of fresh, white snow - no dirty stuff! 1/2 cup white sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup milk (plus more if necessary) sprinkles - optional Super easy directions: In a large bowl filled with fresh snow, mix in the sugar and vanilla. Add a cup of milk and stir completely. Add more milk as necessary to get to your desired consistency. Divide into bowls and eat immediately. Sprinkles are optional, but necessary with my kids!
