Lights and What They Mean

Playback Green Solid Song Playback Green Flashing During Playback Battery is low Green Double Blink SwiMP3 is empty or songs can not be played back, possibly due to format Green Triple Blink Memory needs to be initialized, press NEXT button. Green Steady Blink Playback is paused. This will also happen while formatting or initializing. Green Solid, Red Steady blink Shuffle Mode is on.

Charging Red Fast Blink SwiMP3 is charging, this also will happen while loading SwiMP3 Red Slow Blink (less than one blink per second) SwiMP3 is fully charged

Other Both Lights Solid This happens while holding the ON/OFF button. Otherwise the unit has locked up, press reset button.

Buttons and What They Do


ON/OFF Press and hold this button to turn the SwiMP3 on and off. Press during playback to toggle bass boost. RESET (white dot above ON/OFF) Press to turn SwiMP3 off if it locks up. Press while SwiMP3 is plugged in if SwiMP3 isnt recognized. NEXT/VOL+ Press button to change track, hold button to change volume. This button will initialize memory if green light triple blinking. PREV/VOL- Press button to change track, hold button to change volume. PREV and ON/OFF Press and hold these buttons (respectively in order) to format SwiMP3. Buttons can be released when green light begins to blink rapidly.
