Song/Youtube Video: Where is Mr Monkey? Toilet Roll Friend we will be making toilet roll friends (different animals we have learned over the term) to aid the students in learning prepositions. When the friend is complete they will be able to place in different positions in the classroom to practice the different prepositions.

Phonics We will continue to practice the alphabet letter names and sounds. As well as practice writing the letter 'f'. We will also practice reading 3 letter sight words and identifying the initial letters in words.

Review This week we will be reviewing weather and animals. Vocabulary includes: sunny, cloudy, snowy, rainy, windy, cold, hot, cat, dog, rabbit, frog, fish, turtle, mouse, bear, deer, goat, cow, horse, sheep, monkey, lion, tiger, zebra.

Notes / parent follow up: This week we are learning prepositions. You can practice this at home by using a chair and finding an object around the house, maybe a toy, pencil or marker and using it as your prop to place in different positions. For example, ask your child to place the object under the chair.
