Question 1 It has often been said that poor productivity will detract from a companys competitiveness. Discuss the chain of events that you think would lead from poor quality and poor productivity to the eventual loss of competitiveness. (10 marks)

Question 2 The Crosby quality is free philosophy suggests that the only acceptable level of behaviour is zero defects. Try to think of examples that might contradict this theory. Example: the cost of totally eliminating defects might be higher than the failure cost incurred with moderate level of defects. (10 marks)
