Youth Entomology Summer Camp

Texas AgriLife Extension's Entomologist, Molly Keck, is hosting a summer camp for junior entomologists. If you are interested in bugs, insects, and other creepy crawlers, you are welcome! We will be collecting insects, putting together amateur collections, doing experiments with insects, learning how to properly identify insects, and learning how insects are important . Campers will receive an insect collection kit (net, forceps, killing jar, pins, spreading boards, magnifier, booklet, pens, collection box, and collecting bag), perform experiments, and become junior entomologists. If your child attended last year, they are welcome to come againthere will be a change in curriculum and experiments.

If youre child attended last years camp, cost is $50, unless you are interested in receiving another entomology kit.

Space is limited to the first 20 paid, complete registrations. Please register by July 2nd for Camp #1 and July 9th for Camp #2 to allow enough time to purchase necessary materials.
