After5workshopswithinstrumentaltuition,wehaveformedtheCambridgeshireand PeterboroughDeafYouthOrchestra.Anyhearingimpairedyoungpersoniswelcometocome alongandexplorearangeofmusicalinstrumentsalongwithourregularmusicians.Activities willincludeactionsongs,IndianDanceandDholdrumming,aswellasalessononyourchosen instrument.Weareworkingtowardsoursummerconcerton21stJuly.Nextworkshop sessionswillbe21stApril,19thMayand23rdJune. Musiciansofallabilities,includingcompletebeginnersareverywelcome! MusicandtheDeafisauniquenationalcharitywhichhelpspeopleofall levels of hearing loss to access and enjoy the world of music. Their WestYorkshireDeafYouthOrchestrabeganfiveyearsagoandnowhas well over 20 players. We are providing this opportunity for CambridgeshireandPeterborough. CambridgeshireMusichasbeenattheheartofmusicservicesinthecountyofCambridgeshire fordecades.Ourobjectiveissimpletoprovideawidevarietyofqualityvocalandinstrumental musicopportunitiesandlessonstostudentsofallages.
