Ten days after their sons disappearance, the family speaks out for the first time, asking anyone who knows Joly-Durochers whereabouts to contact police. Missing man posters pepper the downtown. North Bay police announce a woman is charged with giving false information to police during the investigation into Joly-Durocher.

The woman accused of misleading police during their ongoing search learns she is going to trial on Aug. 22.

Luc Joly-Durocher is last seen leaving Cecils Eatery and Beer Society in the downtown after having been refused entry.

Eight officers sweep a portion of the citys downtown for clues, searching outdoor areas and private residences, including backyards, alleyways, sheds and garages.

The investigation moves across the border, as North Bay police, Surete du Quebec and an Ontario Provincial Police canine unit search a wooded area near Temiscaming, Que. Officers search behind the Tembec mill and near the Temiscaming Golf Course.

North Bay Police Service issue a media release about Joly-Durocher, asking anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact them.

North Bay Police Service holds a media conference about the disappearance, revealing that officers have found the navy jacket and cellphone Joly-Durocher had with him the night he disappeared. They also reveal a Sherbrooke Street home is involved.

Teams of officers scour a Sherbrooke Street apartment building for clues. The officers spend more than 24 hours at 683 Sherbrooke St., collecting evidence.

The search leads police divers to Lake Nipissing. The Ontario Provincial Police Underwater Search and Rescue Unit searches part of the lake near the wastewater treatment plant.
