Area 1; Curiosity is driven by questions- either in our own mind or asked by others. Questions can be grouped into 2 main types; Open and Closed. Try developing some questions of the 2 different types on the same theme (or learning area) in order to explore the difference in the types of questions. My chosen theme is Closed questions on my theme; Open questions on my theme;

Compare the questions and challenge a classmate to answer them. What are the 3 main differences between the 2 types of questions? 1. 2. 3. Area 2; Look at the questions guiding the unit of inquiry in your classroom. These are supposed to be open questions, designed to challenge your thinking. They should; -be difficult to answer -need some kind of research to answer well -sometimes lead to a range of different answers from different people -lead you to learn something new by answering the question.
