Post- Conference Reflection

1. We discussed how I can keep the historical validity of my concept while trying to intertwine a modern feel to it. My peers suggested that the best way to do this was to keep the actual even the same in its entirety and maybe change the view point from which the story is being told. 2. We decided that my original concept strayed away from the actual historical event too much and it lost the true meaning of the inquiry project. Now, I face issues like staying focused on the one historical event and trying to think on a larger scale about how I can re-tell this story. 3. In terms of research I plan to stay focused on gathering information on the actual love, courtship, and marriage of Victoria and Albert. I think all of the trials and tribulations they both undergo is especially important in terms of understanding the love they have for one another. 4. I know what it is that Im researching and how I am going to go about doing that but Im still unsure of what exactly the project is so Im not sure what direction I want to go.
