To the Parents of Shea D. Minder: After reviewing your childs academic progress for the 2011-2012 school year, we will be requiring your child to participate in our Summer Scholastic Program in order to stay on track to graduate with his/her class. Failure to complete said program will mean your child must repeat their current grade during the 2012-2013 school year. The Summer Scholastic Program will be held Monday-Friday, June 25 through August 24 from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. There will be a break for lunch from 12:00 PM-12:30PM. Please provide a nutritious lunch for your child as no lunch service will be provided and students are to remain on campus at all times. Cost of program: $500.00 (Checks are payable to NKSD #400) Payment is due by June 10, 2011. A mandatory orientation for students and parents will be held on June 7, 2011 at 7:00PM in the North Kitsap High School Band Room. This meeting is MANDATORY. We will be discussing curriculum, classroom conduct, expectations, rules, and how to help your child succeed. Once again this program is required for your child to advance to their next grade level for the 2012-2013 school year.
