8. The Regent Theatre wants to know whether the majority of its patrons during the summer holidays are adults or children. During a week in December 2 600 tickets were sold, and the receipts totalled $26 840. The adult admission is $12 and childrens admission is $8. How many adult patrons were there? 9.
