Evaluation Question 7

One of the things I felt Ive learnt from my preliminary task to our final production is how to use titles efficiently. From example I feel the bleak, dark and simple text of the Brains, Drugs... works much better with the production in comparison to the bright green of our preliminary task. Also I have learnt to use sub-titles through-out the film, which we tried to implicate in our final product.

Also I have learnt how to position the camera to help make the shot higher quality. In this shot in our preliminary task I feel the camera is positioned too high, and too far to the right. If it was positioned correctly the shot would of looked much better.

Here is an example of how I have learnt to frame shots better. Using the tree as something to pull focus then panning to Shannon falling over. I also learnt a lot of new editing skills. I can edit in music, split clips and you match-on-action easily. I feel doing the preliminary task instead of going straight into our final product benefited me a lot as I was able to revise and learn from my mistakes.
