ABSTRACT Water influx is one of the key elements to measure the performance of the reservoir, its necessary for

various types of water influx models and aquifer models that could affect water breakthrough. This study purpose is to see how the influence of water influx can affect the performance in the production process. The method performed in this thesis uses numerical modeling approach which using the Carter-Tracy Approximate Water Influx model. The influence of pressure drop, time interval, the volume of aquifer and the physical properties of rocks (size, shape, porosity, and permeability) and also the fluid dominant properties factors in water influx.
