5th grade math

These are the things students learned in the last two weeks: How to find areas of rectangles, parallelograms, and triangles How to find the height of triangles or parallelograms height height

Plotting ordered number pairs (coordinates) on a grid Reading coordinates of points on a grid Finding the coordinates of the opposite point on a grid Examples: The opposite point of (3, 8) along the y-axis is (-3, 8). The opposite point of (3, 8) along the x-axis is (3, -8).

Students played a game using coordinates. Students solved problems like these: 1) There is a square whose perimeter is 14.8cm. What is its area? 2) There is a rectangle whose perimeter is 28.8 m. Its length is twice as long as its width. Find its width, length, and area. width ________ length ________ area _________
