We are definitely on the homestretch for this year -- 2 weeks plus 1 1/2 days until the 5th grade is finished for your child. We will start reading George Washingtons Socks as our last book and it will tie in with our final essay in writing. Sadly, we will have only a very basic introduction to the American Civil War -- our last project hit too many glitches with technology and put us behind. Lets make the most of the learning time left.

Elementary school final chapel will feature a short ceremony to celebrate the 5th graders transition into middle school. You are invited to come wish them. Students are dismissed after chapel. Thank you for sending Mrs. Tsuji 2 pictures of your 5th grader -- if you have not done so, please do this as soon as possible so she can prepare for the chapel.
