VERTICAL LAPPED NONWOVEN

Vertical lapper and thermobonding oven are system for vertically lapped nonwoven fabrics of new outstanding
properties.
The basic system consists of STRUTO Vertical Lapper and through air thermo-bonding chamber.
Simple STRUTO line layout is shown below:
A carding machine processes a properly
mixed blend of basic and bonding bers 1 .
The carded web is formed into a layerusing
a Vibration Lapper 2 to form a ber batt
on the conveyor belt of the Thermobonding chamber 3 . After passing through the
chamber the fabric is cooling and wound up
4 . A supporting layer 5 can be brought
from below onto the conveyor belt of the
bonding chamber.

Vertical lapper as well as through air thermobonding chamber are especially designed for true vertical lapped
nonwovens that create a unique product which no other system can copy or imitate. Vertical lapped beats all in
terms of resilience, lightweight, ber denier capability, ber type usage, nished appearance and technical capability of nished product. Not only new markets are created by multiple exibility in properties and production, but also to replace existing products, which had to be produced by chemical bonding until now. And the
future will nd new elds of application.
