    PAYMENT OF CONTRIBUTIONS UNDER THE EMPLOYEES COMPENSATION SCHEME (E.C.S)


    Further to our letter to all employers dated 30th June 2011 on Modalities for Implementation of the Employees Compensation Scheme, which was also published in major national Newspapers, we hereby notify our esteemed employers that payment of contributions can be made as specified below and through the listed banks. Procedure for Payment
    1.

    Employers should pay contributions at any branch of the approved banks listed below. They should also ensure that they write the Account name in full i. e. Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund.

    No abbreviations, please.
    2.

    Employers should submit their tellers along with Schedule of Employees paid for to the nearest NSITF office. (Download format of Schedule of Payments ECS.RE03) from NSITF website: www.nsitf.net.

    3.

    Employers should obtain NSITF official receipt for the payment.
