ELECTRICAL SUBSTATIONS USING GSM

ABSTRACT:

Embedded system is the one of the firmware that is combination of software

and hardware. Here the software is encapsulated in the hardware. In embedded

system entire hardware is monitored and controlled by the software which is

developed by the programmer/user. This technology reduces the cost and size of

the devices. It also reduces the manual operation; finally it gives the automation

products such as Home Appliances, Security systems, Satellite, Industries

Automation and etc,

Now a days to improve the efficiency of the process, people uses some

new technologies, like RTOS (Real Time Operating System which gives

deterministic and multitasking facilities), PROTOCOLs (such as I2C, SPI, CAN,

LIN and TCP/IP which increase the speed of the process).

Major part of this project is embedded controller and GSM. Main aim

of this project is avoiding electric accident .Using this project we can find

out the damages and discontinuity of the transmission line . If the break or

damage inthe transmission line , while the electricity board willget the

information about break or damage through AT commands.

DESCRIPTION:

In our project “3 PHASE SYSTEM PROTECTOR WITH GATE

MONITORING FOR ELECTRICAL SUBSTATIONS USING GSM ” we can find out

the damages and discontinuity of the transmission line .controller continuously

monitor the 3 phase transmission Lines. If the break or damage in the

transmission line ,controller transmit some message to GSM and the electricity

board will get the information about break or damage through AT commands.
