Problem Specification
Type of Industry
Education software has floristically to gain extent now a day. Many administrator barriers easy plus with advancement now we can almost work out our way. Our Industry is

Institute Management System

Educational Industry. It is an education industry that teaches the student of Diploma, BCA, MCA, and Degree. It is the industry that can make web design or website for the some small scale industry. It is industry that would work on the small premises for the students working. It is a small scale industry. This software makes institute capable to solve his all problems.

Process
All the process carried out under education sector is mostly manual. This is a software company or an industry. It is company that can create a website or software. It is a company that can make software or a website for the different company's or an industry. It is a company that helps in creating a website. It is a company that helps the total presentation for the website or WebPages developing. Feasibility study Depending on the result of the investigation the survey is now expanded to a more detailed feasibility study. The feasibility report of the project holds the advantages and flexibility of the project. It is divided into three parts: 1. Technical Feasibility 2. Economical Feasibility 3. Operational Feasibility Technical Feasibility In technical feasibility the following issues taken into consideration. Whether the required technology is available or not. Whether the required resources are available. Technical Feasibility centers on the existing computer system (H/W and S/W) whether it can support the addition of proposed system, if not, to what extent it can support and the organizations capacity to acquire additional components.

Institute Management System

Economical Feasibility A System financial benefit must exceed the cost of developing that system i.e. a new system being developed should be a good investment for the organization. Economical Feasibility consider the following 1. The cost of a full system investigation. 2. The cost of hardware and software for the class of application. 3. The benefits in the form of reduced cost or fewer costly errors. 4. The cost if nothing changes. Operational Feasibility Operational Feasibility is a measure of well a proposed system solves the problems, and takes the advantages of the opportunities identified during scope definition and how it satisfies the requirements identified in the requirements analysis phase of the system development.

Equipment
There is project on creating the website or webpage s, its just as a software site so there is no use of hardware equipments in that. There is an equipment of the software the website makings system or languages. In this project we use visual web developers 2005 and visual studio with asp.net & c#.

Scale
It is a small industry. That can create a website or software for the different company. It comes in an education sector so its turnover is not more.

User as Product

Institute Management System

The owner of the company or the main head of the department of the industry OM SOFTWARE can use this website for store, check; insert all the details of industrys employees & student details that are part of the institute. The maximum advantage must be such that enables the administrator maximum context.

Problem Identification

Our industry is identified different problems during working process. Now we have to solve the problems faced by industry. They have different problems such as there is lot of paper work in industry such as they have to maintain attendance of both employee and student in paper and fees collected through student, these processes contain lot of paper works and it is very difficult to maintain and there is a chance of loss of documents. Another problem is they have to maintain all records in their registers and there is a chance of loss of data or mischief. Our industry has two branches so it is very difficult to control both his branches from a place. The important problem with management of institute that how to manage all its employees and students with their specific records and details. This whole process is very time consuming and the chances of mistakes were possible. It is very tedious.

Problem Definition

The problem definition contains the perfect definitions of institutes different problems. Our institute has different problems with their working and management. There is lot of difficulties coming through working of institute. They have to find the documents when it is needed if it is lost so it costs very much. This means there is lot of paper work in institute which is very difficult to handle.

Institute Management System

The institute has two branches and some employees and student, so it is very difficult to manage all of them. There is lots of details provided by students and employees which is difficult to maintain and it is consumes lot of time, so lot time waste in make these paper documents and maintain it. These documents have no backups, so if any document is lost it costs the institute. There is no scope for those students who want to inquiry about different courses or batches online through institutes website. For payment and fees collection lot of difficulties faced by institute, such as they have to maintain receipts and there is not any type of backup for it.

In short all problems show below: Manage the whole institute. Maintain all the details of students and employees. Control both of his branches. Lot of paper work. Very time consuming. Collection of fees and payment of employees. Not user friendly. It is very tedious.

The Whole industry process and problems study

The industry for which we work its a software company name as Om Software. In this ohm Software Company they have an institute which would work as guided or education related. In the under of this company. The institute name institute management system would be running, for this institute we can make website. Problems Study of company. There are a so many small problems in the institute.

Institute Management System

They are as follows:To reduce the work which would be done by paper or on paper work? This type of paper work they did not properly or exactly working or maintaining the proper work. Because of paper work they dont get exactly or lost some document, so that for which paper work or to maintain the company details. They need the website that can also maintain there company through internet all maintain data updates daily on computer and this system only work from the H.O.D of the company.

The Problem Solution Outline

The company have problem in their institute for management and to reduce the paper work. Our software manages the institute proper by updating their data daily and makes easy access through it from the web. Software updates the details of students and employees on web concurrently. The head of department can see the data of different branches from net. It checks the books details that the books are available or not. It updates and save the details of students fees collection and employees salary. In this any user can access the information about the institute at any time from anywhere. It save all the data of institute and updates that data regularly so from this we can avoid paper work.

New Method
To maintain the work through central database or computer by updating data regularly or delete the data which are useless. To reduce paper work by creating this website. Manage all the employees and students by a database administrator. Insert and update single changes that happen in institute database. 8

Data dictionary:A data dictionary is a collection a data dictionary, as defined in the IBM dictionary of computing is a centralized responsibility to other data, origin, usage, and format this typically includes the names and description of various table and fields in each database , plus additional details, like the names and length of each data element this typically includes the names and description of various tables and fields in each database, plus additional details, like the type and length of data element this typically includes the names and description of various tables and fields in each database ,plus additional details, like the type and length of data element.

Introduction to the data dictionary

One of the most important parts of an oracle database is its data dictionary, which is a read only set of tables that provides information about the database. A data dictionary contains: The definition of all schema objects in the database (tables, views, indexes, clusters, synonyms, sequences, procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and so on) How much space has been allocated for, and is currently used by, the schema objects Default values for columns Integrity constraint information Privileges and roles each user has been granted Auditing information , such as who has accessed or updated various schema objects Other general database information

The data dictionary is structured in tables and views, just like

Institute Management System

Other database data. All the data dictionary tables and views for a given database are stored in that databases system table space. Description of the data objects or items in a data model for the benefit of programmers and others who need to refer to them. A first step in analyzing a system of objects with which users interact is to identify each object and its relationship to other objects. This process is called data modeling and results in a picture of object relationships. After each data object or item is given a descriptive name, its Relationship is described (or it becomes part of some structure that implicitly description relationship), the type of data (such as text or binary value) is described, possible predefined values are listed, and a brief textual description is provided. This collection can be organized for reference into a book called a data dictionary.
