302. First impressions are often very important.

Describe a time you got (or gave) the wrong rst impression. In most of time, we take first impressions as the basis of judge a person. Sometimes it helps us to see clearly a person, but sometimes it makes us wrong-headed. In my opinion, first impressions are important. If you gave others a bad first impression, they would not want to contact or know you anymore. On the contray , if you gave others a friendly and optimistic impression, they would feel like to get along with you more times. In my high school, I met a girl, Molly, in the summer advanced class which was held by our school. She studied in the same junior high school with me. Because of that, I told to her on my own initiative, but she responded me cheerless and cold. At that time, I angered her attitude and never told to her anymore. For the first impression, she presented brittle and freeze. After one year, I chatted with my friend who was in the same class with Molly. I told about how she had treated me so unfriendly, but my friend was very surprise, she told me Molly was so kind and cute that everyone in her class likes her, and she also advised me to talk to her again. Few days later, I encountered Molly and asked her about her unfriendly attitude. She apologized to me and explained that she has just broke up with her boyfriend when she had met me, so she had felt depressed and behave unusual. Afterward, we became friends. After this experience, I realized first impression is the part of reference to judge people, but it couldnt be view as very important part. On account of people might not always in their regular conditions, such as experiencing bad thing would cause them in bit of moods and makes them behave different from usualness, but we misunderstand that is their usual attitude and behavior. What is more, our power of judgment is not always accurate. Anyway, people should not rely on getting first impressions to judge a person. We might miss the occasion to contact and acquainted with this person. My experience for example, Molly and I would never be friends without my friends intervention, because of getting wrong first impression. There are so many causes that would make us getting wrong first impression and wrong judgment. The only way to understand a person, just spend more times.
