The Brief.
Get young people to engage and interact with the i newspaper. Building a student and youth community around the i.

The Insight.
Newspapers are often left around, or read in a public space. Meaning a single copy of i is often read by more than one person.

The Solution.
Make the back page of the i newspaper itself an arena for debate. Allowing people to hold intelligent debates about current news stories.

The Execution

The back page of the i features a single news story and invites readers to leave their opinion.

The intelligent debate will build as each reader leaves their opinion on the back page of the i. Expressing their views on current events.

Touch screen back pages are placed in student unions and train stations. Showing a click through range of commentable news stories. Debates and whole pages can be shared online.

Ambient advertising in places where graffiti is present, such as student union bathrooms. intelligent debate comments printed in red typeface with i branding.
