TOPIC: LAUNCH INTO THE DEEP Introduction Blessed be the Lord and the Father of our Lord Jesus

who has blessed us with heavenly blessing in spiritual places above in Christ Jesus. Having known him, it is a great basis to dig deeper in him to unravel his promise and deeper things he has in store for us as his inheritance. In digging deeper into him there is the need to launch into the deep. When we launch into the deep, we discover the great things he has. So today, it has pleased the Lord to speak about the topic: Launch into the deep. 1Cor 2:9-8 No eye has seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man the things God has prepared for those who love him. But he has revealed it to us by his spirit. The spirit searches all things even the deep things of God. Gold is not found on the surface but it is found in the deep. Oil is not discovered at the surface but is found in the deep. Water which we call common water is not found at the surface but in the deep. So to discover the precious things of God, we must dig deeper. We must launch into the deep. If we will dig deeper and launch into the deep we will find our gold, our oil and our water. Someones gold may be a big opportunity he is looking for, anothers gold may be promotion, others gold may be good marriage, business expansion and blessings. If we can launch into the deep, we will discover these great things from the deeper realms of God. In gold mining, you can get very deep but when you get there your gold will soon deplete with time so you must still dig deeper. At that depth you are at a deeper depth but you can exploit all the gold at that depth. After you do that you still must get deeper and deeper until you attain full measure of resources. Tonight as you get deeper may you attain your full measure, your full potential and your full blessing in Christ and the Holy Ghost. In attaining your full measure of Christ and the Holy Ghost we must endeavor not to be stagnant. Stagnation is not a choice. Therefore when you have one land, acquire a second land; when you have no building get yourself one; when you have a BSc get MSc. When you have one car get a new car. When you stay at one place for too long, there will be danger. Therefore move, break grounds and launch into the deep. Spiritually, if you have praying for 30 min, launch into the deep and pray for 1hr. If you have doing 30 min devotional time, launch into the deep and do 1hr devotional time with God. You have never fasted the whole month, launch into the deep and fast once a week. You have always prayed about this problem but it is still persisting. Launch into the deeper and you will prevail. In Luke 5:1-6, Jesus who is well known for his extraordinary teaching ability went standing by the lake of Genesaret and as usual the crowd pressed upon him to hear the word of God. The crowd press on

him so much that he stood by the edge of the lake. And immediately he saw two boats at the edge of the lake left by the fishermen who were washing their net. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to simon and asked him to push it a little from the shore. Then he sat down and taught them. When he had finished his teaching, he said to simon Launch into the deep and let down your net for a catch. But simon answered and said Master we have toiled all night and caught nothing, nevertheless at your word I will let down the net. And when he had done this, they caught a great number of fish and their net break. Peter, James and John were experienced fishermen at their age. They used all their experience, all their knowledge, all their fishing techniques and even all their astrological senses have all been used but they caught nothing. I am here to tell you that by strength shall no man prevail, you may have problem with your job, you may have problem with your finances, you may have problem with your marriage, you may have problem with your business, I came to announce to you that if you rely on your strength, it shall fail you, if you rely on your degree and knowledge, it shall fail but when you look to Jesus you shall win over your problems. For the weapons of our welfare are not canal but mighty through Christ for the pulling down of strongholds, Casting down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ. Therefore anything that shall exalt itself against you Christ shall defeat it. Amen. (2Cor 10:4-5) Now tell me, who gave the command launch into the deep to Peter? Jesus. What made the difference to the disciple? It is the command launch into the deep. So therefore without Jesus there would be no Command and logically without Jesus, there will be no Launch into the deep. Your promotion may be locked somewhere, your blessings may be locked somewhere but when you call Jesus, He will give a Command that will open your blessings, your promotion, your opportunities, your job, marriage and your future. ***So launch into the deep means looking for Jesus in your activities. And them that believed on Him were not ashamed and them that put their trust in Him were not dismayed. Peter knew that Jesus had healed her mother-in-law and had driven out demon in the previous chapter of Luke 3, but he was amazed that Jesus cared so much about his day-to-day activities and needs. I am here to announce to you that Jesus is interested in your activities and he cares for you. He is interested in your job, your business, your career, your finances, your marriage, your future, your husband, your wife and your children. So let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say I am rich and the sick say I am healed.

You may be a lady waiting to be married and the man is not coming. I have come to tell you that relax for your miracle is on the way. You may be a man who is looking forward to marry, I came to tell you, dont worry, your miracle is on the way. Let the weak say I am strong. As experienced as Peter, James and John were, they knew the behavior of fish at night. They also know the behavior of fish at cold temperatures. They were aware of the behavior when the weather changes and when it is approaching the morning, they know what to do. So for applying all these knowledge and still not get a catch showed, things were not going well with the disciples at all. What worked before was not working now. So they became disappointed and gave up. No wonder they were washing their net. Does this describe you? Lord I have tried so hard about my job, I have tried so hard about my marriage, my career, my finances and they are not working. Perhaps you are disappointed and are almost given up. God says I should tell you Launch into the deep and pray today and he who answered by fire will answer you. Elijah was a man like us, he prayed for fire to burn the altar but when he called for rain to from above what worked before did not work. But when he launched into the deep and persevered the seventh time God answered him. You may have to persevere tonight for the miracle you want and you must determine tonight and God will answer you. ***So launch into the deep means Pray until Something Happens. Net Washing When a fisherman washes his net, it is a sign of given up, disappointment and end of the robe. No option is left for him than given up. When you are out of options, you may feel you are on the end of the robe and you may feel you down to nothing. But I came to tell you that when you are down to nothing, God is up to something for you. So rejoice your helper is near to help you. Fear not for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen and help you. I will uphold you with my right hand and all who fight against you will be ashamed and disgraced and those who oppose you will be as nothing. When all hope is gone and all options have failed it is okay to tell your Redeemer how you feel. Our greatest discovery takes place when we reach the end of our robe. We have worked all night and did not catch a thing. In most cases we want to do it our knowledge and ability and

when we do that he will sit on the fence and watch us and when we are humbled by defeat he will show up just when we needed him. In Luke 5:4 Now therefore go out where it is deeper and let down your net and you will catch many fish. If you go with your feelings you will miss what hes got for you. But when you go with your faith, the place of your greatest failure can become the place of your greatest success. Fortunately, Peter decided to respond in faith so he said Master we worked hard all night and did not catch a thing. But if you say so we will try again. That changed everything. The word MASTER changed everything You may be facing trial moments, but if you shall say Master, It is difficult nevertheless at thy word I will try, God will turn things around you and take control of you.
