TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTRE ISLAMABAD ******* Technical education is the basic need of the modern age and Vocational

Training is an important instrument for the transfer of know how and technologies to many spheres of daily life. The Primary objectives of the vocational training is to train youth/matric drop out from the high schools, in vocational skills to prepare them for the development of the economy of the country. 2. Technical Training Centre (TTC) Islamabad was established in 1986 under

the National Vocational Training Project Phase-I. This centre is located at Plot No.39, Sector H-9 Islamabad having a covered area of 36288 sq ft. The building was constructed during 1984-86 at a cost of Rs.53.50 million. 3. Well established workshops for regular training courses according to G-III

and G-II Level of National Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS) established by National Training Board in the following trade areas exist in this Centre. The Training Capacity of these workshops is as under: I. Electrical

For above said courses more than 200 trainees are registered in every

session. Admission notice in these trades is announced through advertisement in daily newspapers and through electronic media. 6. The resources available with this centre i.e. training facilities and

expertise/assistance provide skilled and semi skilled workers to public, private sector and self job opportunities to reduce unemployment in the country.
