Weekly Outline:
Activity session subject : Fruits Vocabulary: Apple, orange, banana, grape, strawberry, cherry, watermelon, mango, papaya, pineapple, pear, kiwi, rose apple, mangosteen. What is it? What are you eating? I am eating . . . I like to eat . . . Activities / songs / games: I like to eat song Fruit bowl Show and share, students bring in different fruits Fly swat game Peg the fruit, different fruits pegged to a washing line and the students have to use washing pegs to peg the fruit teacher calls out.
Phonics We will be continuing looking at the s,a,t sounds and introduce the p sound. We will look at tracing the letters s,a and t.
Review We will be reviewing the vocabulary from last week which revolved around colours; red, orange, pink, green, yellow, purple, blue etc
Notes / parent follow up: While shopping point out different fruits and ask them what it is, get your child to physically touch and smell the fruits.
