a) Prove that the steady state output of system having transfer function G(s) with all poles in the left half of the s-plane and input r(t) =RG(j)cos(t+) G(j)

If h(t) is the impulse response of the system and the input 1 is applied to it the output is obtained by convolution formula. =

= This is applicable if the impulse response is absolutely integrable. Since all the poles are on the left hand side of the s plane this condition is satisfied.
