ORDINANCE NO. 06-11

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE

TOWNSHIP OF EWING IN THE COUNTY OF MERCER PROHIBITING PUBLIC
URINATION

BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Council of the Township of Ewing that Chapter

212, RESERVED, of the Code of the Township of Ewing is hereby amended as follows:

Section 1: Chapter 212, RESERVED, of the Code of the Township of Ewing is hereby
amended as follows:

Chapter 212, RESERVED, URINATING IN PUBLIC, PROHIBITED

§ 212-1. Urinating in public, prohibited.

No person shall urinate or place any bodily waste of humans on any public street, sidewalk or
other place in public view, or to which the public is invited or has access, except in a lavatory
toilet or similar facility.

§ 212-2. Violations and penalties.

Any person violating this article shall be subject to the penalties Chapter 1, General Provisions,
Article II, General Penalty, for each offense.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect after final passage and publication according to
law.

STATEMENT

This Ordinance amends the Revised General Municipal Ordinances of the Township of Ewing to
prohibit public urination.
