Senritsus body was dragged back to the location where Itachi was standing.

Looking over the horizon by the abandoned shack they intended to stay for the night. Kisame tossed her forward roughly as he was clearly fed up with her antics. This is the 5th time. Are you sure you want to bring her? He asked. Itachi paused as he looked back to Senritsu. It seemed she was much more roughly handled than the other times they had to stop her. Did she give you much trouble? He asked Kisame as he returned his sharingan stare to him. She went all out. If she wasnt going to hold back, why would I? It was a valid point Kisame made. Her wounds were somewhat severe from deep lacerations to bruises. She was still alive however, even if she was unconscious. Itachi knelt down, seeing her hair covering her face when he brushed it out of the way to see her face for the first time. For the entire journey since they found her, she had been wearing the anbus mask she stole from her latest victim. Where did her mask go? Itachi, inquired further. It mustve flown off when I hit her. I dont think shell miss it. It wasnt hers to begin with. Kisame explained as he walked over to the cliff side, seeing the storms not too far from them. It seems storms are coming. We should use the shed for shelter tonight. Kisame sighed as he turned to Itachi who still seemed to be studying Senritsu. You never did answer my question, Itachisan. Itachi lifted his head hearing his name mentioned and finally answered, She can decide for herself to stay or not when she gets to Amekagure. Its highly unlikely she will attempt to escape again. He stated in a plain tone as he picked her up, carrying Senritsu into the abandoned little shack and Kisame followed suit. Kisame took a seat on the worn out wooden flooring and when Itachi put her down gently, Kisame added, Why are you so interested in this woman? Her genjutsu is nothing special. Kisame stated in slight irritation. He clearly did not care for the girl at all. Which to some degree was to be expected. He didnt want her to join, but Itachi seemed to see something Kisame did not. If you have been paying attention, not a single time has she used a hand sign for any of her jutsus. Kisame contemplated for a moment over Itachis words. Youre right, he hesitantly admitted. Itachi then continued, The ability to combine chakura with her voice she would be very useful. I suppose. But Im getting tired of her escape attempts. Kisame stated grudgingly. But, as soon as he made the statement, Senritsu began to stir. Itachi and Kisame both returned their gaze to her, to see her eyes open. They were black, deep and dark. She groaned in pain from her wounds, her hand slowly gliding to her side where her worst pain resided. Itachi only watched coldly with his sharingan eyes. Kisame however, grinned in amusement. He threatened, Thats what you get for trying to escape again. Do it again, I wont be so nice. It seemed to go over her head as she tried to force herself to sit up. However, Itachi knelt down by her, Dont move. He directed. She glanced over to him for a moment, she knew her mask was gone, her true face revealed. Yet she was in so much pain she didnt care at the moment. She just wanted the pain to go away. What she didnt expect however, was his hand roughly pulling her hands away from the wound so he could look at it. Through the tear of her kimono, there was a massive laceration, fairly deep enough that it was bleeding heavily. He seemed displeased how rough Kisame was with her. She wasnt a jinchuriki, she just needed to be caught and brought in. Maybe Kisame thought a severe wound would be enough to teach her to not escape again. Hmph. Was his only verbal expression for the moment. There was no medical-nin anywhere near them, there was a good possibility she would bleed out and die if she wasnt treated. Before he could assist her however, she leaned up, grabbing at the very hem of her dress and tearing the longest portion of it off before she layered it and put it on the wound, applying pressure. It seemed she wouldnt wish to allow herself to be treated by anyone else. She didnt trust them. She didnt know what would be done with her. And in her mind, she was afraid, even if she was incapable of expressing it. Itachi was surprised by her attempt to save her own life, but he pulled her hand off for a moment once more since she wasnt putting enough pressure on the wound, applying pressure with his own hand as he leaned over her. She cringed in pain, but didnt say a word. Kisame, go get some fresh water to help clean out the wound. Itachi calmly requested. Kisame was surprised, his white eyes watching for a moment before Itachis sharingan eyes glared over to him. He was quite

serious. With a grudging sigh, he stood and when outside to get what Itachi asked of him. Itachi soon returned his attention to the young woman who was lying in agony. If you didnt try to escape, you wouldnt have been injured. He told her. His voice showed no compassion, yet he wasnt mad. She brought this upon herself. They both knew that much. Yet she smiled and laughed in the oddest manner before she coughed heavily. I thought I had a chance but I suppose theres no point in trying anymore B-but what did jyou expect jyou didnt tell me where I was going, why, and what will be done with me. She spoke softly, even though her words were slightly accented, he still understood her. Ive already told you, were with the Akatsuki. And jyou expect me to know automatically what that is?, she retorted. Itachi didnt realize she didnt know what the Akatsuki was. It seemed fairly common knowledge. If this eluded her, what had she been doing most of her life before becoming a thief? Right now, it didnt matter. He focused on keeping pressure on her wound. Senritsu only paused for a while before she asked, What is this Akatsuki for? I dont want to jump into something completely blind jyou know? It will be made clearer when we get to Amekagure. He chided. Senritsu didnt care to be told that answer. She decided to ask other questions instead. So who are jyou then? All I got was jyour first name from fish-boy. It seemed she had a knack for giving nicknames to those she didnt know the names of. Uchiha, Itachi. He answered sullenly. From his tone, she could tell he was becoming fed up with her constant questioning as well. She still smiled as she rested her head and her wound soon stopped bleeding. Itachi then stood and sat over against the wall, her head raised back so she could see him. From an upside-down view, but she was still keeping an eye on him. So, why am I being dragged to Amekagure? She questioned. Apparently she stopped caring whether she bugged him or not. Her need for answers drove her to ask. To join the Akatsuki your abilities may be of some use to us. It was those words that made her raise her eyebrow. She was being dragged all the way to Amekagure, to help some organization? The idea that her talents were needed made her eyes light up. For a notorious thief and murderer, she was very expressive with her happiness. Something not many did or showed in the Akatsuki. You still have some work to do though Itachi added which took away her brief moment of happiness. But she understood. If she was being dragged back and so easily by both him and Kisame, then she certainly had a lot of work to do to catch up to their level. Jyou think I could be as strong as jyou? Or the fish-boy? she questioned innocently. She genuinely desired to be stronger. The idea of someone being better than her in genjutsu, art, or anything else for that matter, clearly didnt sit well with her. As his sharingan eyes glanced to her, she immediately glanced away. A sort of reaction she had since she was caught under his genjutsu the first time. She never desired to look him in the eye to be caught in it again. Possibly. Was his only answer. Even though her eyes were focused on something else, she smiled. Rolling back on her side and resting her head as she quieted down. This was her last attempt she had to try and escape those two. She never tried a foolish stunt again, seeing her curiosity peaked as to what this Akatsuki business was about. Since that day, Senritsu obeyed without question and followed them to the Amekagure. A fascinating place she had never been to before. The leader met with them, discussing what her abilities were, what information she had that may be useful. She shared openly about many things, yet never gave her real name. Senritsu became no longer an alias for the thief who held the very night in her hands in Iwakagure and Sunakagure, but her name in the Akatsuki. For the girl she was no longer existed legally, even though she was sure her real name still existed in some documents. The following day, after being treated by the medical-nins of the organization from the day before, she was given her cloak and changed into a darker dress with mismatching gloves, mesh armor, and heeled boots. She even wore her signature blades which hid perfectly under the Akatsuki cloak sleeves. Before she started her day however, she went to the leader to inquire what field she would work in and with whom. Eagerly she ran down the hall before running accidently into someone. It was a strange feeling, their body was ridged, but at least they cushioned her fall. O-oh! Im sorry! She exclaimed as she quickly sat up and got up, but her eyes

saw a red haired young man in front of her. Someone she did hear of before. Ah jyoure Sasori. She muttered to herself. Watch where youre going, brat. Sasori spat with utter disdain as he got up on his feet. Senritsu only stared for a moment before she also got on her feet, bowing in a polite manner as she tried to laugh it off. Hehe, again, Im sorry. I wish I could speak with jyou more, but Im in a hurry! With those words, she hurried past him waving. She was such a strange girl to be unfazed by someone like him. When she finally made it to the leader she paused to catch her breath before approaching him. Jyou wanted to see me, sir? Yes. He answered as he turned to her from looking out over the city. Its been decided, youll be in the intel division. You will start on the highest rank for intel, so you will have access to all the information we currently have and are currently seeking. If we need you for anything we will assign you to work with someone else, but until then, you will have a partner from another division. A partner? She never expected to be assigned to someone. She hoped to some degree she would work with someone she work well with and that her genjutsu would not hinder them. Immediately she turned hearing the sound of footsteps. She saw before her a young woman who seemed confident, beaming with a somewhat smug attitude about her. Sup? You needed me here, sir? Senritsu never had seen the woman before. The young woman had this cool vibe about her. Black short hair, dark eyes not very different from her own, yet a pale complexion, something to her felt strange and yet familiar. Yes, Keke, you will have a partner as you requested before. She will be your partner. The woman dubbed as Keke looked over to Senritsu with some disbelief. This kid? Senritsu hardly looked formidable or intimidating. If anything, with the bow in her hair, she was borderline cute. Even in her behavior it seemed she was naturally that way. Keke paused for a moment before adding, Are you sure? How did she even get into the Akatsuki? Senritsu felt her point was valid, but amusing all the same. She can explain that to you in due time. Now, Senritsu,, the leader called her name to get her attention and Senritsu immediately returned her gaze to the leader. Understand she is your superior. You are to show respect and listen to and do as she says. Yessir! She proudly exclaimed and bowed before he hurried back out the door. Keke admired to herself the girls energetic personality. It was a nice change compared to the dull and morose members who worked with her. Just as Senritsu headed out the door, she ran into another member. Watch where youre- He glanced up, seeing young girls sheepish blushing face. She quickly backed away, showing her hands and waving them as a form of habit she had to show she didnt mean to offend. O-oh! Im so sorry! I I wasnt paying attention. I-Ill be sure to be careful, I swear! When she opened her eyes, she also noticed the blonde man that stood before her. His anger quickly dissipated when he saw her genuine apology, but what he saw next was the familiar sight of the black haired woman behind her. Deidara, youre not causing trouble with her, are you? Kekes voice was anything but cheerful. Her intimidating tone seemed to disturb him as he quickly shook his head. No way, un. Senritsu quickly glanced back to Keke, Senpai, he wasnt causing trouble, it was my fault! She quickly admitted. Senritsu was indeed the strangest Akatsuki member yet to put the blame on herself first before others. Keke smiled before putting her hand on Senritsus head. Afterall, Senritsu was shorter than her. All right, Ill let him off easy then, child. You just be more careful then. Senritsu giggled. It was thrilling to see so many new faces, at least to her it was. To Deidara however, it was strange to see such a girl. Her hair was, well fancy. Her hair curled nicely to frame her face and long in the back to about her knees. She even had a bow neatly tied around her head. It raised so many questions in his mind, but he wasnt going to bother asking. Hey. Keke called to get Deidaras attention. Quickly he snapped out of his thoughts and his blue eyes glared back to Keke. What? He stated crossly. If I catch you causing problems with this one, I will stab your hands. Ok? She said with a taunting smile. Keke always did intimidate him. He happened to always catch the woman on a bad day apparently and Keke was notorious for her insanity. She was indeed someone to be wary of. Senpai! Senritsu quickly turned, giving a look of disbelief before she continued, Enouuuugh lets just go, please?

Senritsu hurried around Deidara and ran down the hall. Oi! Get back here, kid! Keke shouted as she quickly followed her, chasing her down. Deidara wasnt sure what to make of the two. The hot headed woman paired with the light-hearted kid? Polar opposites. Perhaps thats what would make them a good team. As he watched the black haired woman chase down the one with the bow around the corner, he shook his head and simply headed in the opposite direction. As Senritsu hurried down the hall, she felt a sudden tug on her collar. Clearly Keke had just caught up with her. What is wrong with you? Just settle down!, she scolded. Senritsu quickly whipped around and looked to her superior, I at least wanna get outside! Mattaku (seriously) Keke muttered to herself as she took Senritsu by the hand, leading her down the hall past various other members who only glanced by. Of course they have seen Keke around. Who hasnt? But no one knew the girl she was dragging around. It was that day forward that the two were hardly seen without the other. Senritsu always stayed close by her senpai and Keke always watched out for Senritsu. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
