Special Guidelines IN IS-2190 : 2005 2nd Revision 1. Mixed occupancy with E class risk add 110 B Rating extinguisher/room/machine 2. Each HT Panels/Servo should have 21A/55B capacity FEs 3. Low+Ordinary+High Hazard - A person should not travel more than 80 ft for FEs or emergency exit. 4. Special hazard A person should not travel more than 35 ft for FEs or emergency exit. 5. Bottom of the FEs should be 3 ft from floor [Clause 6.5] 6. Generally FE should be sighted in such a way that one need not travel more than 50 ft to reach a FE. [Clause 6.3] 7. FEs should be placed as near as possible to exits or staircase landing, or along fire escape routes. [Clause 6.2]
