Quick check: In our pulse oximeter smartOx you have the perfect instrument for making a spot check in emergency situations or as part of routine work in medical practices. The small device that fits in a lab coat pocket gives you precise readings of your patients oxygen saturation and

heart rate. With our MODUL CapnoVol you can always see how effective administered ventilation is. In this case too reliable monitoring tells you when fast intervention is necessary, whether you are at the scene of an emergency or in hospital.

smartOx
Pulse oximeter WM 18000 When you need to know your patients arterial oxygen saturation and pulse immediately, use our handy pulse oximeter smartOx. It fits in any jacket or lab coat pocket and delivers the information you need now, accurately and efficiently. Display of oxygen saturation and pulse in figures Pulse is shown in bar chart Optimized artifact suppression with integrated artifact leveling Supply Schedule: smartOx pulse oximeter Fingerclip sensor with cable (WM 18010)

MODUL CapnoVol
Ventilation Monitoring WM 22460 Concentrate completely on emergency ventilation. Dont waste any time with sorting and untangling cables. With the MODUL CapnoVol on the LIFE-BASE portable system right next to the ventilator, you can conveniently monitor the ventilator as it works. MODUL CapnoVol displays the expiratory volume and the CO2 content in exhaled air (capnography) for sure, accurate and conclusive results. Intuitive operation Large and clear display Shows expiratory volume and CO2 content of exhaled air Has an extensive acoustic and visual alarm system Up to two hours of continuous operation Fits on the LIFE-BASE portable system Existing LIFE-BASE systems can be retrofit

Pulse oximetry
Fast and effective Supplying an adequate amount of oxygen to the body is one of our vit al functions. If the process is disrupted, we are threatened by respiratory distress and exhaustion. Medical personnel use pulse oximetry to monitor oxygen saturation of hemoglobin and thus the supply of oxygen to the body. This non-invasive method eliminates the need for blood samples, avoids the risks involved with sampling and demands much less medical expertise from the user. Our pulse oximetry shows photometrically measured oxygen saturation (SpO2 ) and pulse rate. For more than 20 years this tried-and-tested process has become one of the most important elements in patient monitoring for use in anesthesiology, intensive care units and in rescue services. Pulse oximetry makes possible spot checks and continuous measurement of oxygen saturation.

Capnometry
Safe and precise Capnometry determines the level of carbon dioxide in the patient s exhaled air. This non-invasive method is used in the continuous monitoring of ventilated patients, particularly in anesthesiology, intensive care and pre-hospital emergency medicine. It provides fast and reliable monitoring of the correct tube position for emergency doctors and rescue personnel. In addition, capnometry permits direct ventilation and anesthesia management based on end-expiratory carbon diox ide (etCO2 ) with which the effectiveness of cardiac massage can be immediately assessed. Capnometry has become a permanent component in most hospital ventilators, medical monitors and defibrillators. S mall port able systems have been specially designed for the monitoring patients during transport and for patients in the care of rescue services.
