National Rifle Association & the Unified Sportsmen of Florida Endorse John Legg for Florida Senate
New Port Richey, Fla. Republican Candidate John Legg today announced that the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Unified Sportsmen of Florida have endorsed him in his bid for Senate District 17. John Legg is like no other candidate in this race, said Marion Hammer, past president of the NRA and executive director of the Unified Sportsmen of Florida. He has an impressive background of dedicated legislative service that has demonstrated his determination to fight for the cause of freedom, the Second Amendment and the protection of Constitutional Rights. I am grateful to have received the National Rifle Association and the Unified Sportsmen of Florida endorsement of my campaign, said Legg. Elected in 2004 and subsequently reelected, John Legg is currently a member of the Florida House of Representatives, serving his constituents from Pasco County with pride. From his experience in the Florida House as Chairman of the K-12 Education Committee, Deputy Majority Whip and Speaker Pro-Tempore, Legg has gained expertise in a broad spectrum of issues that are important in our state.
