When feelings flare among family, friends, or strangers, cause us to pause, to wait upon you. Let malice and bitterness give way to that which builds up. Even in deep loss, let anger be healthy, but let it never possess us; let blame be sparing, and never let it stand. Grant us words of love and feed us from the Bread of Life. Amen.

WE PRAY FOR OTHERS The pastor will share prayer requests and the congregation will respond: Lord, hear our prayer. After the prayers have been lifted, we will pray together the Lords Prayer: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
