First Interview
The E&Y interview is a standard interview with the questions based on your competency and it will take around 50 minutes. The manager of the line of service you applied in will take responsibility of interviewers in this case. The questions you have to answers including: 1. What are the reasons for your choice of working for Deloitte? 2. Why you want to work in audit/ tax/advisory department? 3. Have you ever changed your working way to help other person? 4. Do you think that if someone is the team leader, he has to be expertise at something? 5. Have you ever changed your working way to solve the problems? 6. Are you interested in hard work? 7. Do you believe in talent or hard work? 8. From the previous job, do you ask for more responsibility?

9. What should you do to manage the risks in work? 10. How do you evaluate yourself? Are you good at organize? 11. Do you often set up your weekly plan for yourself?

Tax interview questions


If you apply for the Tax position, the questions you can be asked as following: 12. Why you choose Tax, not Audit or Advisory? 13. What have you learned to follow up the tax? 14. Do you think that one day should be more than 24 hours? 15. Can you tell me something about your groups of friends? 16. If you have more than one group of friends, do you talk to them in different way? 17. Are you admired any company or brand? If you have chance to talk to them, which questions do you want to ask them? 18. Do you like team working? 19. Have you ever wanted to quit the job or not wanted to continue doing something? 20. Have you ever had to choose between the needs of your team and your own? 21. Have you ever done something again with different way? How about the result? 22. Did you ever create a new relationship with anyone? 23. Between starting and finishing, what do you prefer? 24. Have you ever persuaded somebody to do something? 25. Between quick action and careful planning, what do you like more? 26. What are your strengths and weaknesses? 27. Do you think that you are a better candidate than others? Why do you think like that? 28. In the university, what did the lecture evaluate on you? 29. Does your friend say that you are an organized person?

Partner Interview
The partner interview at E&Y is substantially based on more competency than other companies. The most frequently questions the interviewers used to ask you in the first round are following: 30.
