As we discuss the process of selling real estate in Ocean City, MD we are often asked what closing costs will be involved and how much they are. Obviously they are going to vary from deal to deal, however there are some common similarities amongst them. Primarily the Seller will be responsible for a portion of the transfer costs, the deed release and the commissions when selling their real estate in Ocean City, MD. It is helpful to know what these costs will be up front in order to properly position and market your property. Transfer Costs Every time a property transfers in Maryland the state and local municipalities charge a transfer tax. Essentially this tax boils down to $1.66 per $1000 of purchase price. Good Eats | Harbourside Bar and Grill Harbor Side Bar and Grill is a waterfront establishment on the commercial harbor in West Ocean City. It is definitely one of the best watering holes in the area with their famous Orange Crushes and constant live entertainment. Often overlooked is the great food that they offer. They always have a special list with a variety of creative offerings on it, I usually dont need the menu. The Seafood Pasta is a winner with a variety of seafood served in a light garlic cream sauce over linguine. They do a crab club, which is a soft shell crab topped with a crab cake and bacon come hungry for this one. Their seared scallops and tuna is awesome and literally right off the boat next door. Good Times OCs Winterfest of Lights kicks off in a couple of weeks and it is a lot of fun for all ages. The display is quite impressive and has won numerous national awards.
