The (Malon) was a period of the history where the military men do his revenue to the territories inhabited historically by Mapuche population, with the principal intention of usurping grounds and, as it is said at the end of the history, to appropriate of the people, especially women. b) The History by means of the lkantun The word lkantun is another one that has multiple meanings. It is understood as a song arisen from the improvisation or learned; it can have affectionate contents; related to the nature; and it even at present is the translation of the Spanish word poetry . Inside of the texts that appear in the manuscripts, this type of singings can be found, but with historical connotation. Through them, sufferings, experiences, and reflections are expressed Brother, friendly brother: there it is, there is the ground where I grew, friendly brother. In the middle of the best animals my dear relatives had raised me, friendly brother. But now I walk aside an unhappy person, friendly brother. Once I was seized by the expanded ones elongated heads [nickname for the wika]. These damned shoot my horse and that way they stopped me, I turned out to be hasty when they stopped me. I dont even have a bad dream! I am an attentive man to the forebodings, and this suddenly happened to me. You lumped it, thieving Indian the wika said to me when they shot at my horse. I never thought that I would survive, when they seized me, friendly brother. 17 On having had the aptitude to write, Nawelpi managed to compile a big quantity of texts that were dictated by his friends with whom it usually joined in the city of La Plata. In this case, Kolr, also acquaintance as Marcelino Rodrguez, exhibits by means of the singing what happened to many people in that epoch. The military men were suddenly coming to certain places and they caught whoever they had at sight. Many people managed to escape; but some others ended up by being captured and removed of his territories of origin and families.

c) The History by means of the epew An exceptional case, but of big interest in his creativity, is the way in which the conflicts took to the field of the epew, whose principal characteristics are the analogy between human and animal beings. In the manuscripts they presented several of them, for example: when the fox traveled to Buenos Aires to meet with the President of the Republic and demand from him the return of the grounds, real situation that took place years later to the Campaign of the Desert. Other that presents big quantity of details is the following one: They say that once there was a war between an ostrich and a mosquito which they called pollko. They say that the ostrich invited to his host. They say that they had been invited the fox, the guanaco, the hare, the armadillo, the piche, the deer female, the lion, the skunk and the tiger. [On the other hand] they say that the pollko invited the mosquito called kurikuri, the gadfly, the called mosquito kurpital, the eagle, the treile, the owl and the gull. Then they said that the fox was a captain. I am going to be the vigilant of the way They say that the fox said that. Then they say that the fox went away, who from a distance discerned the invaders. They say that the cloud of dust of the ground was getting up. Then the fox did a big fire, and then he came faster, mounted in his horse [...]. What is it? they say that they asked him; the invaders are coming: today we are going to die!: they are going to kill us, these poor wretches say that the fox said. Then they say that the ostrich cheered his people up. They say that it was already a half a day when the invaders came. Then they fought. They say that the fox extracted his sword and started fighting. The ostrich was thrown to the water, since the pollko chased it and it was stinging him in the eyes. They say that the guanaco and the hare also were thrown to the water [because] the gadfly chased them [...]. They say that the pollko, the gadfly and the kurikuri killed the ostrich, and later the kurpital finished off it. This way they say that they won to the ostrich.18
