Heritage is more than a record of the past it is

becoming an integral part of the urban identity now, and for the future. In the light of this, PLEASES will be holding the 4th National Executive Officers and National Board of Trustees Conferences and Visayas Island Congress cum Seminar, with the theme Cultural Heritage and Tourism Tools towards Philippines Progress on March 6 to 9, 2013 Crown Regency Residences, V. Rama Avenue, Guadalupe, Cebu City, Philippines. Enhancement trainings through lectures and audio-video presentations are lined up, in consonance with the 2020 Vision of PLEASES for A Strong Network of Empowered Secretaries as Excellent Legislative Partners of the Sanggunian. The conference aims to provide participants with ideas on how their respective LGUs can strategize and develop a strong tourism industry based on their respective tourist products cultural festivals, historic attractions and unique tourist facilities and services, among others.

In this regard, may I respectfully request your support by allowing your Secretaries, Assistant Secretaries, Board Secretaries and other legislative staff of the Sanggunian Panlalawigan, Sangguniang Panlungsod, Sangguniang Bayan and Sangguniang Barangay; honorable members of the Sanggunian Panlalawigan, Sangguniang Panlungsod, Sangguniang Bayan and Sangguniang Barangay; Tourism Officers; and other interested local government officials and personnel, to participate in the subject conference and seminar workshop.
