Prakhar Mittal, born on 26th may 2002 is a fifth grade student studying in Delhi Public School Sec-45 Gurgaon. He is called as Computer or Calculator by his friends as he is good in studies. He loves reading books and playing tennis. He has also completed Grade 3 in Piano. His favourite subject is Maths and he is quite a wizard at that. He loves working at computer. He has a younger brother who is very troublesome but very cute. His best friends are Jainil (Jack).

Monday Well, it all started when I and my friend Jack Anderson had really worked hard for the Stunt Show happening in our neighborhood. I was going to ride a bicycle and do the tricks while Jack was going to ride a skateboard. At one point of time, while we were practicing, Andy (the son of the mayor a rich one and the one who left us in the first book) who once was our friend and now our arch

1 3 enemy came to us and told us that if

we stay in the closed Creepy Claws (a closed haunted house) for one night he would bet us for 5 dollars. Of course, I, the greedy one agreed. How foolish I was. At night, me and Jack pulled open that door and went inside without seeing that Andy was following us. As soon as we went inside, Andy locked the door and said he was not going to open it till the Stunt Show ended because we had practiced hard and we could win the show but, Andy wanted to earn fame by winning the show. Plus, there was just a little bit of light for us to see, rest was darkness. Jack and I tried to find a way out but there wasnt a window or a crack in the wall.

Youll find a witch in a shawl, And scary skeletons standing in the hall,

Youll find some really creepy heads, Lying on the tables and beds, Youll see some huge monsters there, All with giant teeth and wild hair,

Youll also find many insects, Some with one eye and some with ten legs, So now you know its deadly creepy there, And its like your worst nightmare.

1 6 We were really scared when we saw

a witch riding a broom that we ran in different directions and lost track of each other. I was so scared all by myself that I almost vomited. When I wandered alone with sweat trickling down my face, I saw a body. I mistook it for Jack and ran to hug it, when I saw it was a giant skeleton. I got unconscious and now we were in a fix! Jack was alone and I unconscious! On retaining consciousness, I ran to find Jack. But instead of me finding him, he found me. I was relieved just at the sight of him.

1 7 Well by now, we were exploring the

haunted house (it was not very big) and had created a map of it using a paper and a pencil (which Jack had brought) and a torch (which was always lying in my trousers). Heres the map

time as we knew that Andy would certainly come to rescue us after the stunt show. I tried to get a short nap but, I could not create the mood to sleep. Also, it was uncomfortable in our sleeping bags. Then we started passing time by playing Demon Rock with cards that we had brought to pass time. We were soon hungry. We ate our dinner and thought that the show must have ended by now and we will be soon out of this horrifying place but, we were

At last we were too tired and were down to bed. Tuesday Today was the second day in the Creepy Claws. We were just feeling as if we would die in this boring place but we did not wanted to lose hope. Then I thought of something that we should have thought before. Why not give mom a call? We were carrying our mobile phones and that was not a problem for us. But, luck

2 1 did not take our side and we found

out that our mobiles were discharged. We had now learnt a lesson that we should not trust on Andy. But, we were worried about our families.

I dont think his intentions are right, As his mind runs faster than light. One day while standing beside him I blinked, And then I found that I was extinct.

This type of a poem is called a nonsense verse. And we both are mind-blowing in making these kinds of nonsense poems.

2 4 But we were not focused on making

poems. We were thinking of how to get outside the haunted house. Wednesday We were going to be out of supplies if we didnt think of any ideas and so here are the best ones of those hundreds of themIdea No.1 Try to break any of the emergency doors as they are lighter than the main gate. Idea No.2 Hoping that the acid in the Acid Lake was Hydrofluoric Acid so that we can burn a door and get out. But none of the ideas worked.

Thursday Well, we had run out of ideas and supplies and were quickly losing hope. Jack knew he had to something. And then he cracked it.

Well, he said that we could take a knife out of the knife alley and cut open the door. And of course, I agreed. It was quite difficult to take the knife out of the wall because there was no light, but we managed it. We took it and ran to cut open the door and at first a blink of sunlight

2 7 came then it grew larger and larger

unveiling the world again.

Now, only one step remained and that was revenge on Andy and we knew we could do it because the stunt show had 3 hours left to begin. We could still trap him and take revenge. And thats what we did! Firstly, we called the Empire Furniture and repaired the door so that he would have to go in to check and we could lock him.

Then we called a duplicate maker so that we could lock him in even if he had the key.

After that we sent him a call in my best manly voice so that he couldnt recognize. I told him that I and Jack had escaped and maybe he should check in the haunted. He said yes and sure enough, after some time we saw him walking inside the haunted house. We followed him and did what he did to us and that wasLocked him!

Well, the best part was that he had not brought anything so he couldnt call anybody plus he could only succeed if he had a brainy partner with him like my best friend, Jack. 2 Hours Later It was time for the Stunt Show to begin. And Andy wasnt there and you know why. We were well prepared and performed well and this time luck was with me and we were the champions.

He was maybe going to live for more days inside when I remembered about him. I called Jack and he said that we meet near Creepy Claws. I met him and we planned what we could do. We couldnt just open the door. Andy is a black belt in karate, and if we opened it then he would not leave us. So Jack cracked another plan.

paper inside with all the steps needed to break out and Andy would read it and come out without suspecting us. So thats what we did again. And it worked, but not for long. Saturday There were only two days left for the Night Camp. Oh! I forgot to write about it. A Night Camp was being organized in our school in which only Jack and me were taking part from our class. But unfortunately Jack got down with cold that evening and I had to

At midnight, while I was just going to sleep the lights went off. I was standing near the dustbin a huge one which was open. Some boy came to me (I couldnt see his face), grabbed me, lifted me and threw me straight into the bin and closed the lid. Soon the lights came and I could see that I was sitting right in the bin with all the smelly garbage and no one even had an idea where I was. I sat there waiting for someone to throw something in the bin.

went straight at my face and now I was even gagged. As David was in a hurry, he could not see me and he couldnt even hear me. I started shaking vibrantly. Soon the teachers and the students realized about the shaking dustbin. They thought there was a ghost in it and started spreading the haunting news. Soon all the people collected and the principal Mrs. Anna tip-toed to the dustbin and scarily opened the lid. Then the whole fifth grade saw a boy gagged with a Pepsi can and bits of garbage all around him popping out of a big trash can.

Now I realized that the boy threw me in the dustbin must have been Andy because he must have wanted to take revenge. I said to myself that enough was enough. I just wanted to vanish off from their and go to my house and sleep. Then I had an idea. My house was just next to the school. Why not escape out from the back gate of the school. And a few seconds later, I was slumbering in my bedroom. I told Jack about Andys revenge and we wanted to do something that

my notes which I had saved years and tore them by mistake. And I know mom will not give me the money back as she would say the same thing as she said when I had once lost my 20 dollars. She had said that it was my fault and I had to earn it up again. Saturday Andys father, the Mayor called the electrician and had the lights going again. We were going to have a quiz in geography on the capitals of the states. I was pretty happy as I was sitting just right to the map.

But before the start of the quiz, Andy warned the teacher to cover up the map, causing me to fail. Sunday I thought that I could not defeat Andy and would have to give up. We just had our Activity changed from Basketball to Swimming. Today, Andy told me that the girls and the boys changing rooms were labeled wrong. I could not fully believe on him and thus wanted to try it on somebody else. I chose Sam for my experiment.

I told Sam the news and in Swimming class, he went to the girls changing room (which was according to Andy labeled wrong) and I went inside the boys changing room (which was according to Andy the girls changing room). And I soon realized that Andy was absolutely right when all the girls started throwing their shoes at me. Soon, the whole sixth grade knew about a boy who once visited the girls changing room. After this incident I learnt a lesson for my entire life Always trust on your enemies.

I asked Andy why he told the truth to his enemy. He then told me that he was no longer my foe but, my friend from now on.
