SCENE 1 - EXTERNAL Outside school, by the gates. Pathway and school doors. Max arrives for his first day of school. Using an over the shoulder shot we see him wave goodbye to his mum. MAX Bye Mum! Cut to a long shot of Max running down the path towards the school entrance to meet his friends. Cut shot to Max smiling and greeting his friends. Slow motion shot shot of Max smiling. Friend opens school entrance door as the walk into school. SCENE 2 - INTERNAL POV shot of Maxs arm opening a classroom door. Walks in, teacher hands him work. TEACHER Complete this by the end of the lesson Max! Long shot as he takes the sheet and walks to his seat and sit downs. Panning Shot of children in the classroom doing their work, close ups. Reaches Max, he sits there in a daze. Cut shot to the clock, Fast motion an hour. Pips Go. SCENE 3 - EXTERNAL Jump cut to Medium shot of Maxs Teacher telling max off for being the center of attention - cross fade sound and film of what appears to be his dad also shouting at him implying that max is playing up at school due to his home life and school. SCENE 4 Establishing Shot - Max standing alone in corridor whilst people are rushing by, fast forwarding shot. Heavy eyes, smile becomes more labored. cross fade a clock ticking in the background along with younger maxs eyes cross fading with older maxs eyes implying that the younger boy featured in the film and the older boy are both max.

Sad Sound track playing in the background SCENE 5 over the shoulder shot of max is on his phone texting his friend when a teacher sees him and asks him to hand the phone over. cut to long shot Teacher - Max, give me the phone, you know youre not supposed to have your phone in school Max - Sir, Sir, no I need to text my mum Teacher - MAX! give me the phone! - Raised voice Max - No sir, sir, sir - pleading with him not to take phone Teacher - GIVE ME THE PHONE - Highly irate voice Max- oh fuck off sir - Shouting

SCENE 6 medium long shot to close up shot Max walks up the corridor towards the camera running his hands through his hair implying he is stressed. jump cut to ross walking home SCENE 7 Cut shot to Max walking home - long shot, medium close ups. Various shots of his expressions and actions as he walks in his house hood up, looking down at the ground and dragging his feet we see him open the door and make his way to his room

SCENE 8 High medium shot - is sat cross legged on his bed, smoking a cigarette while playing a stereotypical rap song on his laptop . this is when we First become aware that the school pressure is having an effect on him . cut shot to maxs mum in the ktichen MUM

Max, how was school honey? Max runs hands through hair through desperation, looks at his school bag and knocks books off the bed - and starts to smoke - slow motion close up of the smoke coming off the cigarette follow the smoke rising and then fade out END OF YEAR 9 SEQUENCE Start of year 11 sequence SCENE 9 establishing shot - the motif shot of him in the corridor SCENE 10 James(maxs brother)improvised dialogue; along the lines of telling Max he needs to go school or his life will be ruined. Max - improvised dialogue; depicts him being lazy but in the end he gets talked around to going to school we see max walk towards the front door and James walk up the stairs SCENE 11 - Internal/ External low angle shot of max zipping his hoody up putting his hood up and him walking out of the house and then we see him walking down the street scene 12 - Internal/ External close up shot of older ross eyes and then fade to white and fade back into him in a car (signifying a substantial amount of time passing) scene 13 - External Max pulling into a drive of his house (different from the house of his childhood days) and we see max stepping out the car wearing smart clothes as he heads in house SCENE 14 - Internal inside is where max introduces the biggest change in his lifemax now has a son and max is seen to be embracing and loving the baby - both baby and max are smiling - max needs to convey to the audience his life has changed since he was in high school and the baby is the center piece for this change SCENE 15 - Internal

jump cut to max standing with his baby looking out into the garden giving the impression that max is reflecting on how much his life has changed since his high school days. Camera - the camera moves back from max and his baby through the house and out the door - the door closes to signify the end of maxs story.
