Spring Clean Garage SaleMarch 22-24 Community-wide Spring /Easter Fest March 30th, 1 pm-4 pm Golf Club at McKinney Spring Garden Spruce Up April 6 Community-wide
If you attended the Fall Festival in October or the annual homeowners association this past December, you know that we are planning new construction on a recreational area within our subdivision- The Park on the Green. The area (on the NW corner of Dog Leg and Cold Stream) will have tables for picnics, community gatherings, or a place to simply relax. There is also a plan for a small play area for the kids, which will include two slides, a small rock climbing wall, and fort. We are to break ground this summer! So be on the lookout for notices via mail and email for specific dates on the official groundbreaking. We cant wait!

Gardening/Lawncare Tips
Prune it! Dont ruin it! Knockout roses should be pruned back to 18 inches to ensure maximum growth. Weeds be gone! Apply your pre-emergent herbicide to prevent the growth of weeds; if weeds have already appeared, apply a post-emergent based upon the types of weeds growing in your lawn. Not too much off the top Dont mow your lawn too short. Raise the mower to the highest notch. Taller grass promotes better root development. A need for feed Fertilize with feed high in nitrogen to boost leaf growth. Be careful not to overfeed or grass can become weak and develop fungal problems.
The fasts are done; the Aves said; The moon has filled her horn And in the solemn night I watch Before the Easter morn. So pure, so still the starry heaven, So hushed the brooding air, I could hear the sweep of an angel's wings If one should earthward fare. ~Edna Dean Proctor, "Easter Morning"
