To improve this process, the City is reviewing these processes and wants to hear about your ideas for improving how City staff routinely engage and consult with residents Four sessions are being held, including one on April 10th at the Mlacak Centre, 2500 Campeau Drive in Kanata from 7 to 9 pm. PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON LOCAL ROADS

The City of Ottawa has a policy in place to change the parking regulations on a residential roadway. If residents submit a petition to the Traffic Department, with a 66% consensus amongst residents on the street, a change can be implemented. For example, a recent petition has been received from residents to restrict parking on one side of the road to No Parking Anytime, with 75% of residents in favour. Staff will be implementing this change.
