Synopsis: The English for Technologists course is designed to provide Technical English language support to EFREI students in order for them to better cope with the other technical main stream courses. In this course, students are taught the four technical English language components; Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking, that not only build their study skills, but also improve on the employability skills due to the student-centred approach activities in each lesson. On top of that, students are groomed to be better public speakers through the speaking presentation in the Speaking component.

Content outline of the course/module and the SLT per topic: Listening Skills - Listen based on themes related to IT and world of work. Speaking Skills Present key ideas and expressions for exchanging information. Helps learners to sound more natural in speaking English.
