MY FAVOURITE TRADITIONAL MEAl ESHABWE

How to prepare ESHABWE It is a meal got from cow ghee normally found in Western Uganda where cows are many. Requirements; cow ghee which is yellow in colour about 1kg (can use cow ghee which is 3 weeks old) Rock/black salt which in our local language we call EKIHONDE Table salt Warm water (not so hot and not cold) A pot or saucepan Procedures: You boil water and it becomes hot You get EKIHONDE smash it until it turns into flour/powder form You put it in a pot, add there water like two cups and put there salt You bring cow ghee, add it in the other pot, start mingling until both the ghee, ekihonde, salt and water mix thoroughly. Then eshabwe is ready. It is served with KARO ( a meal got from millet flour and cassava)
