COMPOSITION

Forbidden House
-A House a cold house in Foghills village. A frozen house in the middle of the fog. Rooms where it seemed the time never passed. Almost always immobile curtains, except for the wind, that sometimes slipped through some aperture of some window. Rooms filled with suffocated screams but all in order, impeccable furniture, empty chairs and clean walls. The time didnt pass Jane had a distant look in his eyes, as if something tormented her. It is obvious that a few years before something horrible had taken place She continued talking with effort: -There a man lived, alone. He was a pleasant man, or at least it seemed to me by that time, since now I think he only wanted to seem pleasant with us. What I want to say is that in the desolated village he seemed to be the only agreeable person, so he didnt have difficulties to approach us. However, he had not a good reputation, but as anybody told us why, we never saw him like a bad person. Our parents thought we were too young to understand it They were old days, so these kind of things were seen in another way One day, even though it was raining, we were playing outside in the street, with my dog Nervy. I liked when it started to run following the ball. That day it happened, the ball fell into the garden of Mr. Fellow, this was his name, and Nervy slipped through the bars of the door- Jane breathed with difficulty- We rang the bell for a long time because Nervy didnt appear from anywhere. Finally, Mr. Fellow came to open the door and he said to us that Nervy was in the kitchen since he had given it a few of food. It seemed Jane wanted to stop talking but she continued: -He invited us to enter into the house and then he put some biscuits on the table. Nervy was eating meat in a recipient. We stayed there during a long time when I realized Mr. Fellow was very affectionate with us. His hands were more restless than ever. He said to Pitt that from that house it was possible to see Pitts house. Pam and I were playing with Nervy when we heard steps upstairs. Mr. Fellow and Pitt had disappeared. We got close to the stairs and looked at the darkness in the upper floor. I remember how I started to think that we shouldnt have never entered in that cold house, that dark afternoon Suddenly, a scream frozen my blood. In that moment we thought what it was happening but we were too young then, do you know? - said to me with tears in her cheeks- We only thought to run I havent seen Pitt again, but I think that I dont want to see him again because that day we run we hurried on, hearts pounding until the screaming stopped and silence descended again.
