Worked on a stand-alone application for a firmware-less controller card. This was done for critical debug and board bring-up. Translated a CLI based utility to a GUI based utility with additional capabilities, such as the flexibility to send any SCSI CDB. It involved taking a Firmware based library, modifying it and then compiling it for the GUI. The GUI was written in Java and the library communicated to GUI via Java Native Interface.

Academic Projects
1. PC Based Oscilloscope using PSoC3-> Oscilloscope is the most widely used lab instrument. In this project, a simple Oscilloscope was implemented using PSOC, which is directly connected to PC via UART and the output was observed using

data logger software. PSoc3 CPU subsystem is built around an 8-bit single cycle pipelined 8051 processor. The programming language and IDE used were Embedded C and PSoC Creator, respectively. 2. Human Resource Management using LAMPP-> A simple Web application for human resource management using XAMPP for Linux OS. Consisted of a database of student information, created by MySQL, which could be accessed with a specific ID and password. PHP was used to create the webpages. 3. Conversion Application using Android OS-> Android is an operating system based on Linux with Java programming interface. The application developed consisted of two kinds of converters- Temperature and Length. The Temperature converter converts temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius and vice versa. The Length converter converts length from kilometers to meters, centimeters and millimeters, and vice-versa. 4. Autopilot of a Car-> A B.Tech final year project, it involved the implementation of an intelligent system that would take input from the user about the destination, find the shortest path, detect obstacles at a fixed distance and find an alternate path to the destination. In order to get the current and destination locations, a positioning system was created, which was basically a digital compass that gives any location in terms of angle. The microcontroller, using an algorithm, converted the coordinates into counts required to move the stepper motors attached to the wheels of the car.
