SIGNIFICANT CALLS FOR SERVICE/INCIDENTS:


130706-0756-02 Escort 9206 Shepparton Dr Officers escorted a female to the residence so that she could get her belongings. While there, the officers explained the civil processes to both parties involved. 130706-0816-01 Damage to Property 7255 April Mist Trail The complainant reported that on July 4, someone opened their vehicle and deployed some form of fireworks inside. 130706-0932-01 DWI Sam Furr Rd/Old Statesville Rd. Wesley C. Hudson was arrested for DWI after being stopped for speeding. 130706-1009-02 Suspicious Person Gilead Road/I-77 Officers responded to a call regarding a homeless man walking a pit bull in a pink dress on Gilead Rd. They located Jon Paul Snow who was attempting to get to California. He stated that he could not take a bus because he was traveling with his dog. He was advised of the ordinances regarding panhandling and continued his travels. 130706-1015-03 Hit/Run Huntersville-Concord Rd @ Warfield A black BMW passenger car was discovered to have left the roadway and gone over the embankment. There were no occupants in or around the vehicle and it was the same vehicle from the earlier prescription fraud call at CVS at the end of night shift. When the officers had attempted to stop the vehicle at around 0535 hours near Gilead/Statesville Road it fled at a high rate of speed and the officers did not pursue then. The owner of the car was reporting it to be stolen to CMPD, and provided a name of who she believes took it. This investigation is continuing. 130706-1145-01 Communicating Threats 10114 Glencrest Dr Doug Voght called to report that a Tony Grandinetti had called and threatened to blow up his Trugreen
business.

130706-1548-02 Escort 510 Hunters Rd Officers escorted a female who was evicted yesterday to the address to assist her in getting some of her daughters belongings out. It was explained to her that she would need to make arrangement with the apartment management in the future. 130706-1656-02 Assist Medic 10005 Rosebrook Ln #305 Officers responded to the address to assist Medic regarding an unconscious female who is a known alcoholic.
