Date and Time of Incident: 10-17-2013, 1:00 AM Location: Circle Dr. and Kenreed Dr.

On October 17, 2013, at approximately 1:00 am, Thomasville Police Officers responded to the area of Circle Drive and Kenreed Drive to investigate a suspicious vehicle that was possibly stranded. Officers arrived to find a 2011 Honda Accord stranded in the roadway. Upon further investigation, the vehicle was determined to be stolen from Pilot Mountain, NC. Five individuals from Winston-Salem, NC were arrested and charged with the possession of the stolen vehicle and possession of burglary tools located inside the vehicle (ie, pliers, screw drivers, flash lights, etc). Further investigation revealed the individuals were also responsible for the theft of a Dodge truck from nearby Lake Drive East. The truck was later located in a nearby neighborhood and returned to the owner. All five individuals were additionally charged with motor vehicle theft and larceny from a motor vehicle as a result of this incident. All received a $50,000.00 secured bond and are in the Davidson County Jail with a court date of November 20, 2013 in Thomasville.
