Pastors Notes: I want M.O.R.E. ! Anybody out there feel the same? For the next 3 weeks on Sunday night, we will be giving you some teaching on how to receive MORE of God. This past Sunday morning, I gave an introduction to the need for more and the basic way to find more: Seek for Me and you shall find Me. Sunday night I dealt with the letter M of the word and told you that we need to be:1) MOTIVATED to read/study the Word of God, 2) MOTIVATED to communicate/pray with Him, 3) MOTIVATED to praise & worship Him. God is not a puppeteer that just pulls the strings and moves us into His presence so that we can have more of Him. He tells us in His Word how to have more of Him and then waits patiently for us to do what He says so that He can meet us. Im so ready for the outpouring of His Spirit and the fulfillment of His promises. I WANT M.O.R.E.!!!!!!!

What a great time we had last Wednesday night at our church wide fellowship! I want to say thank you to Donna & Garren Burdette for heading up the fellowship, to the Kids Kafe and all others that helped with the cooking, preparing of the hotdogs, etc., and to Greg Kennedy & Family for the wonderful apple pie. Thanks to the van & bus drivers for picking up the children and to all of you who invited people to come. Thanks to Tim Vassey for getting sound ready for us, to those that set up and took down tables & chairs and THANKS to anyone that I may have over looked. As you can tell, it takes a whole lot of people to make something happen. We cant do it without you.you are special..YOU ARE APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!

Sunday will be the final piece of the series called JUST ASK. This Sunday Ill be talking about Just ask me about..MY CHURCH. I hope that you will be here. When we get ready to start enticing people to ask us questions, we need to have some clear and concise answers to give them. We need to tell them about OUR LORD, OUR LIFE, OUR MINISTRY & OUR CHURCH. Im excited about our church and I hope you are! Our church is so blessed and we ought to want everyone to be part of our fellowship. Have you invited someone? Have you encouraged someone?

In just a couple of weeks, well be having our annual Vacation Bible School. I hope that you will keep this in your prayers. What an awesome time to minister to our church children, as well as community children, with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Many adults today are believers in the Lord because of making commitments to Christ in a Bible School. Pray for all the workers that the Lord would anoint them and use them in a mighty way!
