C ommens urate with our c ountrys growth c hallenges , N T P C has embarked upon an ambitious plan to attain a total ins talled c apac ity of 1 2 8 ,0 0 0 M W by 2 0 3 2 . PROPOSED JOINT VENTURES /MOUs/ A GREEMENTs J oint V enture A greement has been s igned with A s ian D evelopment Bank (A D B) and Kyuden I nternational C orporation (Kyus hu) on 2 4 .1 1 .2 0 1 0 for forming a J V C ompany to develop projec ts and es tablis h, over a period of three years , a portfolio of about 5 0 0 M W of Renewable P ower G eneration in I ndia.

A CQUISITION Bus ines s development through A c quis ition s erves both N T P C 's own c ommerc ial interes t as well as the interes t of the I ndian ec onomy. T aking over, being a part of the ac quis ition proc es s , is als o an opportunity for N T P C to add to its power generation c apac ity at a very low ges tation period. N T P C has , over the years , ac quired the following power s tations belonging to other utilities /SE Bs and has turned around eac h of them us ing its c orporate abilities .
