COUNSELORS CORNER will begin next Tuesday, September 3, during lunch. Guidance Counselors will be available outside the cafeteria every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. ARE YOU WAITING FOR A SCHEDULE CHANGE? Guidance and Curriculum are working as quickly as they can on schedule change requests. Please do not come to Guidance or Curriculum to check to see if your schedule has been changed yet or submit a duplicate schedule change request form. This will only further delay your schedule change. Any student still waiting for their schedule change will be notified through their first period teacher over these next few days. Thank you for your cooperation! KALEIDOSCOPE auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 10th, for all Dance acts in Studio 69 in the dance building and Wednesday, September 11th, for all other arts area auditions in the gym. Auditions start at 3:15 and could run as late as 7:30 depending on the number of participants, so please make sure to arrange your own transportation. Instrumental acts might have to arrange separate audition appointments with Mr. Cooper after the faculty meeting on Wednesday, September 11, with each group having an elected student director. The Tech/Dress rehearsal is on Wednesday, September 18 th, which is mandatory for all participants. The performance is Thursday, September 19 th, at 6:30. All applications must be in turned in to the Activities Office, Dr. Penney, or the Media Center by Thursday, September 5th, with all information completed and first and last name spelled correctly in legible writing. If you are interested in Kaleidoscope, please pick up the information form from the Activities Office, the dance office, or the Media Center. For more questions, contact Dr. Penney. DO YOU NEED TO CARPOOL? The DA PTSA has created a Facebook page to assist those DA students and parents that wish to carpool. Parents may FOLLOW Douglas Anderson PTSA to connect with other parents needing carpool information. Please do not FRIEND the DA PTSA page. COLLEGE VISIT POLICY: Seniors and Juniors are allowed to participate in the college visits. Currently, juniors are allowed to attend three visits and seniors 4. Students will sign up in the Guidance Office and be given a pass for their visit.
