Welcome our English teacher , In this introduction we will explain the strategy which will be used in providing lessons in Easy English 2 .
What is the ( three Ps ) strategy ? It is the three stages followed in teaching the lesson presentation / practicing / production At stage 1 new language material is presented to the learner. At stage 2 this is practiced in a controlled way by means of drill-like activities, and at the final stage it is utilized in more natural interactions, where the learner has greater freedom for creative language use . What do these symbols mean ? The teacher inform her students that they should have a notebook + portfolio The role of the notebook : 1. Since students dont have a book , her note book is her mini book , which provides her with lessons . 2. It helps the teacher to direct and control the students writing. 3. Write grammar rules. 4. It informs parents of the subjects and skills their children are studying. 5. It is recommended that the teacher classifies words into categories ( people animals things places ..etc.)

The role of the portfolio : 1. To personalize and apply student's learning through projects. 2. To help the teacher evaluate some of the skill assigned in each period. 3. To let students use the first page as a C.V . First, they write the personal information they have already learned e.g ( name / class / age .etc . Later , they can add the information they will take e.g ( favorite animals / toys / future jobs etc) 4. Students should have a copy of the skills assigned in each period . 5. A letter to the parents by which the teacher can explain her strategy in evaluating the skills and what is expected from the students and the important role of ( the notebook + portfolio ) that should be signed by the parents.

What are theses files for :

Teachers Book : This book is for the teacher only and she shouldn't give any
copies of it to the pupils .It has the lessons that must be taught with all the hints and instructions to help the teacher in lesson planning and explaining the lesson. It contains also the skills that must be mastered by the pupils.

Pupils Version : In case the pupil has a computer at her home and asks for a
copy of the book , the teacher gives her the Pupil's Version. This version is the same as the Teacher s Book but without all the hits and instructions that have been written to the teacher specifically.

Lessons Worksheets : This file contains the same exercises in Teacher s Book
in the same order. The exercises have been written in an appealing and attractive way with some empty cards so the teacher can writes the grades or some encouraging words in them. The teacher uses the file in the same lesson period. It is not obligatory for the teacher to hand out a copy to each pupil. It is up to her to distribute it to her pupils.
