18 Feng Shui Secrets

That Can Help You
Increase Your Health,
Wealth And Relationships
Simple Adjustments and Powerful Solutions That
Can Literally Transform Your Life & Empower
Your Environment

C reating love, harmony, and prosperity doesn’t have to be difficult or

expensive. These simple yet powerful methods are provided to help you
increase your prosperity, improve your relationships and develop
harmony within your environment.

The definition of Feng Shui literally means “wind” (feng) and “water”
(shui). It is the Chinese name for an intuitive, practical art that seeks to bring
people and their environment into the most positive relationship.

According to the contemporary definition of Professor Lin, the foremost

authority in the world, Feng Shui is the skillful use of the best available
knowledge, incorporating both ancient and modern ideas, to create the most
suitable conditions for living and working.

Feng Shui involves awareness of the many ways housing, location,

buildings, and environment can affect a person’s daily activities and moods,
and influence health, economic life, and relationships.

Feng Shui promotes happiness and success by adjusting the interior and
surrounding environment of a home or workplace to overcome factors that
oppose us and to strengthen what already benefits us.

Feng Shui SECRET #1

Understanding What Your Space Means

T he Ba Gua, an arrangement of eight trigrams and a center, serves as a

map to match various components of your life with the corresponding
areas in your physical world. This can be placed over the shape of a lot,
the floor plan of a house or an individual room.

The main entry point is always located at the bottom of the ba gau. So
you would overlay the ba gau over a room or floor plan and see that the door
would either be in the knowledge and wisdom section, career section, or travel
and helpful people section.

And the back left hand side of a room is always the wealth and prosperity
area when standing in the doorway looking into a room. This also means that
the back right area of a room is the area associated with love and relationships.

Use the diagram below to evaluate the rooms in your home. What do you
have in your wealth areas? What objects do you have placed in your love and
relationship areas of your bedroom?

Feng Shui SECRET #2

Focus On Your Inner Voice And Intuition

F ollowing guidance on this simple level means you rest when you are
tired, to eat when you are hungry, and to eat what your body needs
when it needs it. It means to take care of or change a life circumstance
that bothers you.

As you become more attentive to your personal needs by listening to

internal messages that come to you in the form of discomfort, you will become
more balanced and clear. This will bring more health, happiness and
fulfillment in your life.

Feng Shui SECRET #3

Increase The Outside Energy Of Your Home

A
home that is clean and well cared for on the outside creates a lasting
impression. The trees, shrubs, and flowers should be thriving and well
trimmed. The path leading up to your home must be easily accessible.
Clear away bicycles, trash, garbage bins, dead plants, newspapers, water
bottles, and anything broken.

The addition of potted flowers or plants can add a nice touch to the
exterior. If that may not be an option, you could add a wreath to your front
door.

Feng Shui Secret #4

Increase Incoming Opportunities & Possibilities

T he entrance to your home is considered the mouth of your home, thus

making it one of the most important factors for actively drawing in
positive energy.

The amount of healthy, living energy you can bring in through the front
door makes a huge difference in the overall feng shui of your space. To help
with this, make sure you can open your front door at least 90 degrees without
anything blocking it from opening. This will ensure you are able to receive all
the positive benefits, opportunities and possibilities that come into your life.

Feng Shui SECRET #5

Have Your Home Welcome & Nurture You

S
tand at the front door looking into your home, what are the first things
you see? What does the energy feel like? Does your home welcome and
embrace you when you enter? Does your space feel energetically alive
or does it feel like a cold winter day?

The first step is to create a clear, open and beautiful entrance for energy
to move through and to circulate in your home.

Depending on the layout of your home, you should try to have some live
plants or flowers that can be seen from the entrance of your home. This makes
the space feel nourishing, alive and comfortable. You can also add photos,
artwork, or other items that bring joy into your life. Try to stay away from
showing bills, piles of papers, or other items that may subconsciously add to
your stress.

Feng Shui SECRET #6

The Most Important Room In Your Home

T he master bedroom should be a place that encourages rejuvenation,

serenity, and intimacy. A beautiful bedroom can renew your spirit and
create harmony at the start and finish of each day. The bedroom
provides a place to rest, revitalize, and reflect as well as communicate and
encourage romance with a companion. It should be a nourishing sanctuary. So
be sure to remove computers, work projects, and bills from the bedroom.

For sound sleep, keep only a minimum number of books near your
bedside. To encourage intimacy, remove family photos or photos of children
from the bedroom and display loving pictures of you and your companion.
Add symbols of positive relationships with two people rather than artwork or
photos that only show one person.

Feng Shui SECRET #7

How To Take Command

T he best position for a bed is to be located in the command position, a

power position that provides view, prevents surprise, and gives control
of an environment.

The command position is located in the opposite corner of the entrance.

There are 3 options for the command position as shown in the drawing. Try to
avoid being in direct line with the door of the bedroom as this can cause health
related issues.

Feng Shui SECRET #8

The One Place That Is Most Connected With Your
Energy

C
hoose a bed that has a headboard firmly attached to the bed frame. The
headboard represents stability and support in your life. It creates a firm
backing and protection to your head as you sleep.

Solid wood headboards are the best since they are heavy and bring in the
energy of trees. If you have a metal or wrought-iron headboard or one with
open slats, you can weave silk ribbon, garlands, or faux vines, or some other
attractive trim around the slats to soften and warm the energy.

Feng Shui SECRET #9

Create A Supporting Environment For You & Your
Significant Other

C
onsider having matching nightstands with matching table lamps on
each side of your bed. This will enhance your relationship and increase
the support you feel in your relationship or it can encourage an
invitation for a new companion if you’re not currently seeing anyone.

Feng Shui SECRET #10

Simple Method To Improve Your Health

T he area under your bed should be empty and allow for air to circulate.
If you do have to store items under your bed, keep it limited to bed
linens and such. No weapons or sharp metal objects should be stored
under the bed as this can cause health related issues.

Feng Shui SECRET #11

What Does Your Bedroom Say About You And Your
Current Life Situation?

C
omputers, treadmills, exercise bikes and other electronic equipment
can be detrimental to your health, fertility, relationship and quality of
sleep. For good feng shui, avoid placing electronics or exercise
equipment in the bedroom.

Feng Shui SECRET #12

Gain Peace, Balance & Harmony

O
nce you have created a healthy bedroom, you can add plants, flowers
and light to harmonize the environment. If you’d like, place one in the
back left for money and the back right for love.

Feng Shui SECRET #13

Nurture & Rejuvenate Yourself

T he best colors to use in the bathroom are shades of green, yellow,

cream, blue, and lavender. Darker colors such as red, purple, magenta,
black and brown will make the room look smaller, so only use them as
accents in towels, fabric, and objects on the sink. Green brings in healing and
nature, yellow represents the sun, and blue depicts the cleansing water of the
ocean and the openness of the sky. To energize the bathroom, add a plant or
two to the bathroom.

Feng Shui Secret #14

Impact On Your Income

I n feng shui terms, the stove is extremely important in the influence on our
public life, our career, recognition, and wealth. Keep your stove clean and

represent money - add mirrors behind and also to the side of the stove to
symbolically double your wealth.

Feng Shui SECRET #15

H ang a wind chime over your head as you stand at the stove to call in

behind you and will limit the number of people that could stab you in the
back.

“One Of The Best Investments I’ve Made”

My space felt lighter and more energetic once Ken had been there. The
following day I received a check in the mail for a credit to an account that I
was unaware of, the 2nd day I received notice that I would inherit $24,000 and
the 3rd day I closed a huge deal that had been idle for 6 months.

In that same week, I met a man who just happened to be worth $200
million and we really hit it off. And the one thing I didn't expect was that I
didn't need to take my arthritis medicine since the consultation.

Closely Guarded Secrets of Feng Shui by Ken Lauher 12

About The Author

K en Lauher, a gifted Black Sect Feng Shui

consultant and speaker, empowers individuals
and their environments to transform their
quality of life naturally.

A onetime stockbroker on Wall Street, Co-

Founding Partner of a Retail Brokerage firm, managing
owner of a Thoroughbred Race Horse Management Company (bought, sold
and raced thoroughbred horses), and marketing specialist, he
now understands that his purpose in life is to help individuals experience a
better quality of life by using Feng Shui and space cleansings.

His inspiring and transformational work with individuals, businesses, and

corporations has made him a sought-after speaker on feng shui and life
enhancement.

Where it all started...

Since childhood, Ken has always had a fascination with how a space felt
and how it impacted the occupants. At the age of 7, he was moving large
pieces of furniture around in his bedroom to make the space work better
for him.

As he got older, he started to understand how he could learn more about

a person and their current life situation just by viewing their physical space.
As Ken developed, he became more interested in Feng Shui, meditations and
Eastern philosophy. He knew deep down that he would eventually apply this
interest and potential talent to a future career.

In his late 20's he went through a near death experience where he saw the
movie of his life. It took less than a second, but as he explains it, "it was like
viewing an 8 hour movie of your life that had been recorded from childhood to
the present moment. In the movie you see family, friends, and childhood
teachers, hear conversations that happened decades ago and even experience
a person's scent or perfume."

At that moment, he knew there was more of a purpose to his life than just
working day to day – he was here to make a positive difference and help
others return to their true self.

In March of 2000, Ken left the stress and chaos of Wall Street and
created a business organization to help promote small business owners to
increase their visibility and networking opportunities while studying Feng
Shui on the side. He then enrolled in a 3 Year Feng Shui Master's Training
Certification program to help him further his talents.

As a result, he is grateful for the gifts of Feng Shui and for the guidance
of his teachers including His Holiness
Grandmaster Professor Lin Yun Rinpoche
(the world's foremost Feng Shui Master),
Steven Post (The First American Teacher of
Feng Shui), Barry Gordon, Dr. Edgar Sung
and Rosalie Prinzivalli.

And other teachers including Robert

Peng for helping to develop Ken's energy
healing abilities and C.K. Chu for his
wonderful guidance and teachings in Tai Chi and Chi Kung.
